On Monday 13th November, the Vantage community celebrated 20 years of VantagePOB – the aviation logistics system used throughout the UKCS and in many other locations around the world to support the safe movement of the workforce to and from offshore installations.
VantagePOB was established in 2003 as the result of one of the most successful joint industry projects ever carried out in the UK offshore energy industry, replacing multiple independent operator tools with a single shared service, offering substantial commercial and operational efficiencies for operators, helicopter companies, and passengers that continue to this day.
